A year or so ago Zorah drew me a picture of a garden with a tree, flowers, and a bluebird. It was the first time she had drawn anything like it. I hung it up on the cabinet by the door, where it was bleached nearly away by the Nevada sun. Today I asked her to draw another one with spectacular results.
