Rivers West RV Park

We headed out from Lake Shasta fairly early, and with no particularly thrilling happenings. As we were driving late in the afternoon, thinking it would be a good time to stop driving, we saw a sign for an RV park. Immediately following, the trees bordering the highway opened up, revealing a little park situated right on the river. We took the exit without hesitation and ended up at this lovely place for the night.

I don't think I've ever seen an RV park with such great landscaping and such a profusion of flowers. A ramp led down to the river, where we threw rocks and admired the view. Later that evening, we sat down here while Zorah played with the fattest little Pomeranian I have ever seen.

That night, Zorah drew this picture. I wonder if we hadn't allowed her to watch Cinderella when she was 2 if she would still be focused on this subject matter. If we have another daughter, I'll have to deny her that dubious pleasure and find out.
